The definition of public health has changed throughout the year. In addition, people define public health from their perspective. However, every definition includes a variety of approaches, concepts, and sectors. Dr. Richard Riegelman, public health is “the totality of all evidence-based public and private efforts that preserve and promote health and prevent disease, disability, and death.” Public health considers a large canvas that represents social, economic and environmental elements while examining a lot of worries. These problems consist of seeing how health service delivery systems are formed; How they provide the necessary care. They also consist of policies; How they affect the public as a whole. Holistic views of the 21st century public health consider various factors that resulted in what is currently referred to as the population health approach.
This new approach includes a traditional approach. On the other hand, it also reflects and act on health care systems, social problems, and home business opportunities. In the past decade, people are increasingly aware of their physical and mental health due to environmental factors, terrorist threats, costs and availability of quality health care, and pandemics such as SARS, AIDS, and H1N1. It becomes clearer not only to focus on individual care, but also consider the overall population. Proven, government, health care system, community, MLM top companies, and individuals need to focus on the overall population to protect, prevent, educate, promote, and provide quality health care.
Submitting the progress of public health, practice, policy is a sustainable process. The current approach requires what is known as a proof-based approach. First, the problem is identified; The causes or etiology of a problem are determined followed by recommendations to eliminate or reduce health problems; Finally, the implementation option or intervention is considered and managed. Previous steps can appear as a simple formula; But it is a sustainable process, recycling, complicated.
